The university students faced many problems with transportation. Mostly, after the increment of full prices, the students faced financial issues. Also, public transport like Veda and Metro made them late for universities. Other private transportation fares were also high.
The Chief Minister of Punjab has started a program called CM’s Youth Initiative to help youth. Under this program, university students can get E-bikes and Petrol Bikes in two-year installments without any interest. To register, please click on the button below.
CM bike scheme apply online 2024-Web portal
The CM Bike Scheme web portal is open now. Register and apply for the scheme. The following documents will be required for the registration process. You must have their soft copies in PDF or image form because you have to upload the documents online.

- Your recent photograph
- Your father’s bank statement
- Recent, any one utility bill
- Contact information and CNIC number of two witnesses.
CM Bike Scheme Eligibility Criteria For registration – For students
The CM Bike Scheme helps students get their bikes in straightforward installments. But you should be a regular student at a university. After you complete the application, there will be a stage called Student Bona fide. In it, your university will approve you as their student. You must have a learner’s license to apply for it.
In the first phase only university and degree college male and female students can apply. Also, only five cities have been selected for this phase, which is:
- Multan
- Lahore
- Faisalabad
- Rawalpindi
- Bahawalpur
CM bike scheme – Electric and petrol bike distribution
There will be a total of 20,000 bikes for the students of Punjab. Both electric and petrol bikes will be distributed. The distribution of bikes has been described below. If the number of students increases, the distribution will be held by blotting. So, select the bike carefully before applying.
19,000 Petrol Bikes
There are a total of 19,000 petrol bikes, which will be distributed among the students after the blotting. Of these, 11,676 bikes will be allotted to the male students, while 7,324 bikes will be distributed among the female students.
1000 Electric bikes
There are a total of 1000 petrol bikes, which will be distributed among the students after the blotting. For electric bikes, 700 bikes will be allotted to the male students, while 300 bikes will be distributed among the female students.
CM Maryam Nawaz’s electric bike scheme
After the election, the Punjab government announced a bike scheme named CM Bike Scheme. The primary purpose is to promote electric motorbikes among students. Our CM is talking about the empowerment of women, so she has allocated a specific percentage for girls. The scooters have been designed for Muslim girls so that they can easily drive them.
Chief Minister e-bike scheme
Electric bikes work only on batteries, so you do not need petrol for them. You just need to charge the bike and travel on it. The bikes have powerful batteries, so they can easily be driven within the city. But you must take care of their charging because there are no such public charging points in Punjab.

Blotting of CM Bike Scheme
In the first Phase, the government launched only 20,000 bikes. There are also many types of bikes, including Honda, Suzuki, etc. companies. If the number of students increases, then the students will be selected by the E-Blotting system. The remaining students will be given the chance in the second phase.
CM Bike Scheme- Installments
Bikes are given in installments, so you need to pay full payment for the bike in at least two years. You will have to give a small initial amount of almost 20,000 at the start. The remaining amount will be divided into twenty-four (two-year) months.

This scheme is for male and female students. You need to register it with proper documents. Your university will select you as a bona fide student. Then, after blotting, if you are selected, you will get the bike. In the first phase, only 20,000 students from Multan, Lahore, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi will be chosen.
