Stipend for Girl Students CM KPK Special initiatives For Education

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has launched a Hundred million rupee scheme of CM KPK Special initiatives for Education for girls’ Education. The main features of this Scheme will be discussed below.

  • The stipend will be distributed in the specific district, especially in districts where people’s financial health is low. This will be done to reduce the regional and gender imbalances.
  • The girls from the 5th standard to the middle will get a monthly stipend of Rs 500. This stipend will help them to continue their Education after the primary level.
  • Girls must maintain 80% attendance each month to get the stipend.
  • In this Phase, the seven districts are included:
    • Peshawar
    • Banu
    • Hangu
    • D.I Khan
    • Lakki Marwat
    • Nowshera
    • Shangla
  • These focused districts are selected based on the NER of the Net Enrollment ratio.
  • The transfer of funds towards the district has started.
  • Total number of students which will be facilitated will be 442030 beneficiaries.
  • A total stipend of Rs 530,436,000 will be distributed among the girls.

Hard Area Allowance for Lady Education Supervision CM KPK Special initiatives For Education

For the posting of females under challenging areas like the hilly areas. The KPK government has announced that they will receive 15 million rupees. They will get the extra allowances for these duties and extra time. Some of the main features of CM KPK Special initiatives for Education are as follows:

  • To supervise the Education, the females will get 50% extra of their basic Pay salary. For the posting in the following areas:
    • Kohistan
    • Battagram
    • Tor Ghar
    • Dir Lower
    • Dir Upper
    • Shangla 
    • Tankore
  • A total of 66 females are required to be at those places.
  • The funding process for the departments has been started.

Iqra Farogh-e-Taleem/Education Voucher Scheme CM KPK Special initiatives For Education

The main objective of CM KPK Special initiatives for Education is to provide equality Education to the children of widows and poor laborers. For this Scheme,  the government has set 500 million rupees. The vouchers will be provided to the parents. Some of the main points for this Scheme are as follows:

  • In the first Phase of this Scheme, a total of 35000 students can get benefits in further distribution like
    • 20000 Primary School Students
    • 10000 Middle School Students
    • 5,000 Higher School Students
  • This Scheme focuses on approaching the poorest of the low-income families first. The government has seen some working sectors like
    • Laborers
    • Kiln Workers
    • Daily Wages
    • Widows
    • And those whose income is less than 7000 per month
  • The main target population will be those families who are living in slums or those who do not have any schools within a 6km radius of their houses.

Sports Facilities in Government Schools CM KPK Special initiatives For Education

The government of KPK has noticed that school students are in bad health due to the lack of extracurricular activities. To work on it, they have set the Rupee 100 million scheme for the school’s extracurricular activities. Some of its significant features are as follows:

  • The total number of schools included in this Scheme will be 980, including the following categories.
    • 350 Boys and Girls Higher Secondary Schools
    • 266 Girls High Schools
    • 404 Boys High Schools
  • Each school will be given a 1 lac rupee for the support kits. For it, a parent-teacher committee will be formed.
  • The funds will be provided to the concerned school, while kits will be supplied Through PTCs.
